Basic Info: The Southdown Country Club is a small, privately owned and operated swim club situated in the Southdown Shores community off Route 2 in Edgewater, Maryland. The pool is open between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend with the exception of the week days while school is in session (daily hours). It is a five lane 25 yard pool with a diving well and separate baby pool for children under the age of six. There is a shaded picnic pavilion, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court and charcoal grills for cookouts. Currently, 131 families are members. Membership is open to the public.
Get Involved: We have several openings on committees for the Southdown Pool. The goal of each of these committees is to enhance the enjoyment of our pool. Please consider joining a committee - your involvement will be appreciated greatly! Committees of the pool include but are not limited to: Membership, Finance, Operations, Youth, Swim Team. |
