Welcome to the Southdown Pool!

Pool Cleanup Day will be rescheduled.   Date to be determined....

 Please bring your work gloves, rakes, leaf blowers, wheelbarrows, trimmers and anything else you can think of to help spruce up around the pool!! Many hands make light work.

Please note: We will not have a dumpster so we will have to take the bags to the end of the driveway and
we will not have access to any water.

Basic Info:

The Southdown Country Club is a small, privately owned and operated swim club situated in the Southdown Shores community off Route 2 in Edgewater, Maryland. The pool is open between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend with the exception of the week days while school is in session (daily hours). It is a five lane 25 yard pool with a diving well and separate baby pool for children under the age of six. There is a shaded picnic pavilion, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court and charcoal grills for cookouts. Currently, 131 families are members. Membership is open to the public.

We have several openings on committees for the Southdown Pool. The goal of each of these committees is to enhance the enjoyment of our pool. Please consider joining a committee - your involvement will be appreciated greatly! Committees of the pool include but are not limited to: Membership, Finance, Operations, Youth, Swim Team.
