Pre-registration requirements for Swimteam
Your child needs to be registered with AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) prior to registering with the team. Please follow these steps to obtain your AAU membership card:
1. Go to http://aausports.org
2. Click Join AAU Now
3. Click Athlete Membership
4. New for 2011: AAU has updated its system to a ‘user name and password’ format so you will need to click at the bottom to create your log-in
5. Create your New User Account
6. Click Athlete Membership
7. Complete Application with your child’s information
a. Program: Youth Program
b. Membership Term: Membership expires August 31, 2011, Regular Membership $12
c. Sport: Swimming
d. Club Name: Southdown Swim Team
e. Club Code:XTAEDX- (Be sure to include the Club Name AND Club Code. We will need these when we generate our report to send to the league.)
f. Click Save and Continue and follow link to Pay with credit card
8. PRINT OUT YOUR AAU CARD AND BRING IT TO REGISTRATION WITH YOU.

*No child will be permitted to practice until we receive a copy of their AAU card.
